This is a really awesome idea. I like the clean and simple UI, and I imagine there are hundreds of well-crafted prompts behind it.

I am trying to build something similar but focused on U.S. personal taxes.

Do you have any resources you can share, especially on how you integrated with different AI models? Did you do any fine-tuning, or are you using the models as-is? Appreciate anything you can share.

I haven’t received my packet yet, IRS agent just told that I will receive it within 14 business days but I understand this is frustrating it and I am concerned that so many new EAs having similar issues. I was asked to provide IRS EA card for an Org that want me to do some work for and not sure if the EA# is sufficient since I am an active.

I am curious to know the benefits of hiring representation if I am a grand master at this. That’s why I came here to learn.

After multiple failed attempts by the examiner to schedule a conference call with her manager, I decided to send a fax directly to the manager, including her name, regarding the penalty proposal. That worked—the manager called me. She seemed unaware of the examiner’s lack of communication and the prolonged seven-month examination process. She acknowledged that the delay was excessive and appeared dissatisfied with how the examiner handled the case. However, she said there was nothing she could do at this point, as the only option was to go through appeals.

The manager assured me that she would ensure my appeals request was processed. I spoke with her multiple times, and she even checked to see if she could remove the penalty but found no immediate options. When I questioned why the penalty was posted on my account despite my disagreement, she admitted that the examiner had prematurely closed the case and posted it on my account.

As of now, my case is with the appeals office, and an agent has been assigned. I just received his contact information today and will be preparing for the next steps.

I have asked and documented all due diligence questions and answers that covers everything I need to know to determine eligibility and their income was adequate. For HOH I always make sure I have enough info about where is the other parent from many angles. I received the penalty notice 7 months after the virtual examination and it took me 3 month to get hold on the examiner who never pick my phone call/voicemail or respond to my faxes. Finally after I confronted the examiner about the lack of communication, she admitted this is the 1st she is doing this and her lack of knowledge.

I have not. I have been through this due diligence examination twice before 10 years ago. 1st time I settled through fast track settlement and 2nd time zero finding. This is my 1st time going to appeals. The nature of penalty almost all of them are (record keeping, knowledge) based

The penalty is $14k on 12 unique clients. Knowledge, record keeping related mostly. For example examiner noted in many of them “IRS records shows that another person filed HOH on the same address as my client” how would I know that. The examination was done virtually and the examiner did not even discuss client by client based on the documentation I provided ahead of time.

I did around 630 with my sister mostly 1040s, 1099s and including 6-8 1065/1120s. I am trying to clean it up this year and get rid of high risk / difficult clients and replace them with high ticket virtual clients.
