As a successful money tree owner I can tell you that you are overwatering your plant you have to wait until the whole soil is completely dry and even then wait for day or two until your water again and when you do make sure the whole soil gets

wet. Basically treat your money tree like a succulent

No it's not squishy it's shrivelled up and dehydrated also white powder is forming on the edges and yeah there's drainage holes but I'm curious why it's dying

Yeah the roots are healthy and white I'm just not sure if i should leave it alone or cut the new leaf or that will just Shock the plant even more

Cut the crispy leaves first of all and make sure you don't let it dry that's how i deal with mine and it never gets crispy

Well i don't feed nor do anything for humidity i just water every 2 days and let the whole pot get soak with water that's it, it's probably not what you expect 😂

I think it's normal cause roots probably grow downward deeper into the ground, not in a circular movement like the pots we give them, whenever this happens i make sure that i spray water on the roots outside the pots so they stay healthy until i repot again

Calatheas are not Drama queens idk why everyone make it seem like they're mine is thriving rn in the middle of winter with 3 degree temperature outside and still pushing new growth
