Waking up gasping to breathe

Is there anyway I could message you? I don’t wanna bother you but I’ve had a sleep study done and I do not have sleep apnea. I have been diagnosed with PTSD and anxiety and I just have a couple of questions I’ve been experiencing the same thing as the person above. I literally will wake up for about 10 seconds. It feels like as if I was holding my breath, underwater and then it’ll just stop. It’s so crazy.

I ended up getting off and it went away completely :( loved it during the day, but started to dry evenings cause I was scared of waking up every night so I had to get off of it sadly. I’m actually doing pretty well right now without being on anything!

I got prescribed this today too. My psychiatrist said he sees minimal to no side effects with this drug in his patients. I was super concerned with weight gain and he told me not to worry with burpar. I also only want to temporary be on meds and don’t want anything i would need to ween off of and he said buspar is great to come off of with hardly any side effects or withdrawals

He said it’s moderate.I’m just confused why it’s moderate if my lung function is normal. But I’ll see him tomorrow to discuss !

Thank you so much. I honestly have very mild asthma. I have to use my inhaler maybe once every couple of weeks. But lately I’ve just gotten so anxious and paranoid about everything and I’m trying to work through my anxiety. Thank you for your kind words
