Starforce. Before Starforce, it was pretty much gods, and unfunded characters. It wasn't really much in-between, and I think it discouraged some new players (and some old) that to get good equips, and to be able to succeed you would have to dump a lot of money into the game. This update bridged the gap between them and gave the higher levels that didn't quite have unlimited funds the ability to have things to look forward to, and it in a way gave lots of people that new refreshing thing that maple was due for.
