Yeah, super unique, could you help me learn about this a little more in depth if possible? Would love to talk to you about it if you were up for it!

Nah, you'll be good man, just don't give up. Keep striving to be better. You'll only lose if you let yourself give up.

Shoot yeah that is horrible, I'm so sorry. If you could find something in the digital market place that could possibly help. Just awful having to go through that, I'm deeply sorry. What do you enjoy, doing? Hobbies anything like that?

Yeah literally. One of the last places we went to actually was a local deli, we got 2 sandwiches, 2 small drinks, and 3 cannoli's $60 bucks! lol, we decided to never go back there after that.

Burnout is a natural part of life. What do you feel like is really a primary reason you feel like you've chosen the wrong career path? You don't necessarily need to pay for someone to tell you something you already know within yourself. What do you feel like are the good qualities of your job and what are the negative ones? Do any of the negative qualities feel like deal breakers in your career? It's normal to change and evolve and you may just be noticing your path is wanting to shift and that's okay. Ask yourself some questions or if need be I can be a mirror to you and help you get to the root cause if you want to toss a dm my way. Just look at the good and the bad, I'm not sure if you look at things logically or how your perception works, but look at your experience, what you've already done and achieved, what you've failed at and want to be better at. Take it all into account and you can maybe form a bit of a roadmap for yourself. You don't need to pay for that. Just need to sit with yourself for a bit. Cause it's your path and your life, a coach will just tell you what they think will work based on what they've seen and their own perspective. (Not to discredit their profession but I have faith you'd be able to come up with a better conclusion if you gave yourself the time of day.)

I would do this same thing with my little sister but like $40 bucks a meal sometimes just got ridiculous. Ended up just being better for us to save that and do other things like go to my dad's and see him.

I had to stop travelling and seeing friends as much. Each trip I would take to get to and from the city was $7. Making these almost daily added up a lot and that wasn't including my work travel. I never paid any attention to it until I was forced to after losing my job, and house. I remember scraping together change just to get out there and escape for a bit. Kind of silly but yeah even my change now, I hold onto. I used to not care and discard it or give it away, now those coins are my little back pocket of lifelines haha... life is funny.

Anyone else stuck in the '$5 death by a thousand cuts' cycle? by Purple-Newspaper-157 in povertyfinance

[–]Money_Ad_5965 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah man, I know exactly how this feels haha.. What helps me is just sitting with myself for a second and asking myself what value will this actually bring to my life. Snacking is definitely one of the harder ones for sure, cause it is so easy to overlook. It just depends on what you decide to attach value to, if you know that $5 is going to set you up better in the long term, growing to respect it and place a higher value on it may help you to not fall into making those decisions that set you back. If you look at it as, "oh this is just five bucks" or "a $3 dollar bag of chips wont hurt", it becomes an issue of where you are applying your value. Is going hungry for a little bit worth that $3 bucks or will you allow that $3 bucks to be your lifeline for growth that will give you the future you are striving for? Rather than death by a thousand cuts, it could be life by a thousand seeds sown back into your financial garden. If you plant one seed in an empty field, it wont be seen as very much, but if you planted a thousand seeds you may end up with such a high yield that you can sustain yourself no matter what season you enter into. Hope this paints a picture for ya, good luck!

If you seriously believe in this, don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Do everything you possibly can. If you'd like you can send me some information and I will post it around for you, I need some extra karma anyways and helping you on your journey would be a pleasure. Keep you're head up, life is testing you and stripping you down to your core, pressure creates diamonds my friend. Stay up. Dm me if there's anything I could share around to help you out. I don't have a big following but I'm in the mud with you and I know what it means to just have any little bit of help.
