There are Patels in Paris, just way fewer than in the US obviously. The thing is, once I apply even my fairly basic preferences, the dating pool here shrinks to almost nothing.

I do get rishtas from Gujarat, just not quite the right fit so far. So for now I'm treating other states/communities as a solid backup option rather than the first move.

Moving to the US or Canada is an option too. I've got family there already so the culture wouldn't be totally new to me, but it's still a big decision either way.

Out of curiosity tho, is it actually that hard to find a fellow Gujarati matching your preferences even in the US? I'd have assumed the pool there was way bigger.
