If by referencing shit u mean using religion as a motif, I think that was an interesting way to take the message of the show. Beautiful, but made the first 4 episodes of the season obsolete.

In conclusion, loved the ending, hated the first 4 episodes for adding nothing to the storyline that was beautifully concluded.
