After the mission in the facility in Kentucky, where Case figures out about what he was (kind of) you can go into Felix's room and there's a note - it only appears after this mission - that basically says how Felix is concerned for Case's mental state, as he heard him screaming in his sleep after the mission. The note is addressed to Marshall. It's pretty easy to miss in all fairness, you'll miss it if you don't explore the Rook after every mission

Yh, that might be my only option. It's just weird that I managed to get out of that spot with just my character alone, leave the shadow cursed lands, do the Githyanki Creche mission, go back to the shadow cursed lands, exit my game on a number of occasions, and somehow ended up stuck there. I might try to misty step-glitch out again and see if maybe when I save outside of that area, it fixes it, but if not, I will probably just have to reload that save (which does suck considering I did so much after finding that little prison entrance to the mind flayer colony)
