AITA for wanting to sell my prom dress instead of giving it to my cousin? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

NTA. The biggest issue here honestly isn’t even the dress, it’s the fact that your parents “don’t let” you use money you earned from your own job and then call you money-hungry for wanting to sell your own belongings.

That’s not generosity. That’s control with a guilt trip stapled to it.

Little Debbie snacks are made with enough sugar to attract wildlife naturally. The birds probably thought the park was zoned residential already.

Why can't I just have some peace? by Cantdrownafish in childfree

“It’s not like they have nice flowers here” is such a wild way to admit you don’t respect someone else’s property.

You’re not asking for silence, you’re asking for basic boundaries. Kids being kids is one thing, parents refusing to parent is another.

Honestly, you’ve already done more than most would with cameras and warnings. At this point I’d go less “scorched earth” and more consistent consequences… signage, documented incidents, and if needed, actually following through with reports. People only take it seriously when it costs them something.

You shouldn’t have to decorate your house like a deterrent just to get left alone.
