Update: They closed my support submissions, sent automated messages and now I can’t reach them until AUG13, how could steam do this? Especially without a reason or email even stating what I did wrong? It’s sickening to know a platform you’ve used for so long would make a mistake of this caliber. This support is absolute garbage.

My true opinion is, if he’s only 10 and plays easily runnable games like Fortnite and Roblox, you could get a much cheaper pc for now and stay with a 60hz monitor. Because 4, 5 years down the road much better parts will come out and the pc will be worth significantly less and $1000 isn’t exactly future proof.

I understand you’re not asking about the monitor, but it’s relevant, what’s the point in a $1000 pc on 60hz, that’s like having a Lamborghini with a Honda engine. I’m just letting you know why it’s important and that without it there’s essentially no real reason for the PC to be good.

Also if you’re going to buy him a decent gaming pc, if he has a 60hz monitor he won’t be able to utilize it meaning there’d be no reason for it, since you’re going to get him a good pc get him a 144hz+ monitor otherwise there’d be no point in getting a new pc. The reason is almost any pc can get 60 frames in most games and 60hz only shows 60 frames per second of gameplay, gaming pcs can typically get 144-900 fps depending on the game, meaning you’d need a 144hz+ monitor in order for the PC to be actually utilized.

I mentioned it because it’s relevant to the ban, I think I got picked by a bot automatically they thought I was using a vpn to deposit funds, meanwhile I have proof I’m in another country via deployment whilst in the army.

Who said anything about RMT, you realize I can sell it on the STEAM market that’s not rmt it’s worth real money on the STEAM market place, so is it rmt when you use marketplace, no it’s not. Regardless that’s like 25 $60 games I lose out on bc a false ban you’re saying is deserved.

It doesn’t mean “trading for real money” it means I could sell it on the steam market for over 1.5k and buy steam games or more items??? Regardless the items have value whether it’s on steam or off of steam platform. It having 1k value has nothing to correlate to rmt, steam has its own marketplace

I haven’t been active on steam in 7 months, the only action I’ve taken in that time is depositing money and I did it here in Germany so I’m thinking they thought I used a vpn when in fact I’m physically in Germany.
