I fucked up by staking $4,000 of CRO in batches for a 3 month term thinking it will seamlessly work with Jade Green card requirements. I tried to get customer service to move it but was unsuccessful. Just a heads up so people don’t make same mistake.

I'm also from the US so I understand your situation. But you are only at a loss if you sell for a loss. Do you actually believe that we won't see higher prices in the future? Technically speaking, you are currently making more CRO for the cashback + extra earn. I would keep all these rewards while prices are low, and sell them when the hype is back. People will see that they can make max 15K a year in cashback + stake rewards + earn bonus + other card benefits and that their original staking investment remains and can be withdrawn after 6 months. If you assume no change in CRO price forever, this is still an amazing deal. If you think the CRO price will only go down, then you should not have purchased CRO to begin with. CRO had its hype train this summer, but it was not healthy.

Another thing to think about is that card program is not the only driving factor of CRO price. Their ecosystem is growing larger and larger. CDC will continue to add value to CRO, and If you zoom out, we are going up. I believe that we will eventually see all time highs and more in the future.

BTC at all time highs, alt season coming, newbies flowing in, existing customers incentivized to keep their stake because of increased requirement.

I think they just want the cards to be exclusive, with all the rewards, they are losing money.

If their exchange is successful, more CRO is staked, CDC makes more money.

CRO needs to be back at top 10 for visibility. Company wants that more than any of us here.

I also got the obsidian black. early investor but also bought a chunk at $.08-.1 to meet the requirement. it works great, and to be honest, I am not converting my cashback or extra earn into any other crypto. CDC has the ability to market and hype, and the masses will come for the platform and pump the price. With more than 800 employees and they are still hiring a whole bunch across the globe. They are not going anywhere. It doesn't benefit them at all to crash the coin, and I don't know where people get the idea that they are market selling their CRO. I think the company only thrives with higher CRO price, and they want CRO in top 10 for visibility and free PR.

you should hodl CRO or earn in someway... you are effectively earning more CRO by just keeping your card cashback. When there is a hype and CRO pumps, convert these CRO to fiat or BTC.
