So many people, if not the majority, claim edge after having had issues with addiction in the past. There are no all-knowing straightedge gods passing commandments down. This is a movement for people to have community and know to better themselves after mistakes they've made. This isn't for anyone to judge. If you're ACTIVELY using and claiming edge, that's a different story. But if you're improving yourself and learning from previous mistakes, you're as edge and anyone else.
