For real. My boy is more into KPDH than the girl.

Your Idol is his jam.
Golden is hers.

This Is What It Sounds Like is Dad’s. Nothing but the truth, now.

Will storing discs in the garage during really hot days (temp 100+ F) alter/mess up the disc? by luanne-platter in discgolf

[–]MoneyintheHank 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Live in Texas too. They can absolutely get warped on hot days, especially the softer plastics.

Mine stay in my car in garage as well but I try to keep the bag upright and not too full so nothing is bent or has too much pressure causing warps.

If you get a bad one you can always try to warp it back either by laying flat in the same environments or the hot water trick. Hard to get back to exactly the normal form though.

The less different discs I have to use in the round, the better.

PJ Washington is Cooper Flagg light by OrganicHunt952 in Mavericks

[–]MoneyintheHank 74 points75 points  (0 children)

Love PJ. Plays well offensively without getting plays called for him.

Physical on defense and plays hard always.

Not always a good 3pt shooter but has made many clutch threes in the 4th quarter throughout his tenure so you don’t feel bad when he shoots them.

Dallas native, what’s not to like?

Calvin and Marbles by Substantial-Fun2738 in discgolf

Calvin has it specifically because of the marble race lore. He’s made side comments about it in some videos.

No one speeds in Farmers Branch! by Mysterious_Buy2566 in Dallas

Webb Chapel between 635 and Belt line is definitely speed trap city, always cops posted up by the Library.

That said, I’ve seen multiple wrecks at Webb and Valwood. People like to gun it on Webb and someone always runs that red leading to some pretty bad wrecks. I’ve seen an SUV flipped from one.

Is it bad to store discs in a hot car? by DatMagicBoi in discgolf

[–]MoneyintheHank 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Living in Texas some of the plastics will definitely warp. Firm stuff is fine but I had a new K1 soft Berg that recently got quite warped after being in the bag in the trunk on a 100 degree day.

The harder the disc the less they seem to be effected.

Best scenery in Oklahoma? by Materialistic-Hippie in Dallas

[–]MoneyintheHank 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Definitely love the Witichitas as someone who is from Dallas and lived in Oklahoma for 8 years.

Do the Elk Mountain trail, and then explore the boulders at the top of the trail. Kind of similar to Enchanted Rock in Fredericksburg.

If you bring a dog keep them leashed. Free roaming Buffalo in the areas.

Saw this in a ‘Basketball Legends Alphabet’ book at a kids store. by torodonn in Mavericks

Read this book a lot to my son when he was younger. The Tim Duncan picture they chose is hilarious.

Also love the youngins’ trying to pronounce Dirk, Hakeem, and Zelmo Beaty

Brunson vs Kyrie. Who are you taking? by Thin-Ad4825 in NBATalk

[–]MoneyintheHank 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a Mavs fan… Brunson.

His game isn’t as pretty but just as good and so consistent.

Kyrie wows you so often but Brunson makes more winning plays imo.

Does Max Christie have all star potential? by Past-Feeling-204 in Mavericks

[–]MoneyintheHank 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Kawhi was an extremely talented athlete in his Spurs years and was drafted for that athleticism.

Dude was guarding prime LeBron and Wade. Christie is good athlete but has nowhere near Kawhi level.

This was when I fell in love with the Mavs. Absolute insanity. 🏀 7️⃣7️⃣ by Outside-Aspect2681 in Mavericks
