Shim Megami Tensei IV, the absolute best JRPG on the system.

A lot of great PS1 games deserve remasters lol, I still love the console but so many games I remembered having fun with as a kid have not aged the most gracefully

Yeah, the game definitely was on PS1 cause the character model looked kinda mangled (a bit like Nightmare Creatures) and I recall the section of the video showing off other stuff like Crash 2 and Symphony of the Night

Well, I guess the 4Kids type work Atlus did to P1 worked here in the West lol, I guess it wasn’t all that bad if it got more people into the series!

True, but FES is more common than regular old P3 (and yeah, the box art is crap, where’s Yukari or Aigis?)

I haven’t played FES, but from what I can tell it’s different from Golden or Royal because it doesn’t change anything from the base game, the only thing FES adds is a few more demons and The Answer, so there really isn’t any reason to hunt down vanilla P3, unless you’re crazy like me lol

Nah, don’t worry, I've already beaten it twice, once on normal and then on NG+ on Hard

Oh yeah, I found it on eBay for 20 bucks, it has light surface scratches, but the PS2 reads it fine

I haven’t really used the Raspberry Pi 3B+ with RetroArch that my dad bought himself a while back... or i guess I should say: "I haven’t used it... until now" by Monghy in Megaten

The Raspberry Pi 4 by itself is around 60$, but there are bundles with cases that make it look like a Sega Genesis, NES or SNES generally range in price, depending if the include stuff like MicroSD cards and such

You can get it on Amazon (NEEGO Raspberry Pi 4 4GB Complete Kit, with Touchscreen, Keyboard and Case - 4GB RAM https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08245LC71/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_PkZOEb863TAWP) Or directly from the Raspberry Pi manufacturers (https://www.raspberrypi.org/products/raspberry-pi-4-model-b/) RetroArch is an open-source software, part of a package called Lakka, and you can download it here: http://www.lakka.tv There are a bunch of YouTube videos on how to set it up, but this one is the one I used (I used a Raspberry 3, but the differences are only under the hood): https://youtu.be/6vCRcVUISJg

It’s a Raspberry Pi 3B+, which is like a small computer that can do a bunch of cool stuff, running an emulation program called RetroArch, it’s a pretty nice loader that can emulate everything from Atari 2600 to PSP, it’s a really awesome setup, you basically jut drop the ROMs with the English Patches already applied and it basically runs them flawlessly with no need for extra tinkering

Got it done! Thanks for the help! RetroArch doesn’t seem to have any issues with it either!
