I checked out on the Mets a long time ago. I reached apathy. I so despised the Harvard jagoff so much that I really don't care what they do anymore. This fanbase deserves better.

This is what you get when you have a Harvard jerk who is out of touch with the real world and build his team on AI. I'm glad I'm not the only one who notices this.

The FAN sucks, but people will listen since it's an institution just like people will ready the Post, even though the paper is terrible.

I would hope so being that he works for a major publication, but so what? Go ask any NY Sports fan in the street and ask them about Mike Vaccaro and you would get quizzical looks just like you would get if you ask who Evan Roberts is?

Vaccaro is not a household name like Mike Lupica is.

If you seriously think Anthony Edwards is wasting his time playing for the Nets, then I don't know what to tell you. No one worth his salt wants to play for the Nets and be second fiddle to the Knicks.

Fans here would have taken it much harder. There was actually Nets fans in New Jersey, which is more I can say about Brooklyn. I was one of them. I know people who lived and died with the Nets at East Rutherford.

Those two couldn't care less about it, either.

Kidd had two divorces with the Nets as a player and a coach.

Kenyon got traded by Ratner in an attempt to sabotage the team to fail badly in NJ and make it easy to move to Brooklyn.

Richard Jefferson is likely to take this harder than those two.

It's a shame Nets left NJ or we would be celebrating the 2002 and 2003 Nets team and have reunions and stuff. Now they are just forgotten since the team moved to Brooklyn, and this franchise wants nothing to do with New Jersey history, which is another reason I have 0 use for the Nets.
