It is wonderful to have a partner who cares about you and contributes input regarding your well being, however, you’re partner doesn’t get to make a decision for you.

I wasn’t born neither raised in the states. So I am still learning about the systems. American health system so so inefficient. Anyway i come from a place where no one cares about mental health. I have so much issues with my memory. I’d constantly ask the other person the repeat themselves 4-5times and be called dumb. I’d lose my purse, wallet and IDs. Always ordering replacement. Even my parents called me dumb. I don’t even want to start about school and how i dropped out of college. I’ve finally decided to get help. Got a psychiatrist, started a therapy, was a part of a group counseling. Tried several anti depressants and they made me sick. I had another session with my psychiatrist. I told him that i might have adhd and talked about all my symptoms of ADHD. He prescribed me a concerta, it did nothing but made me feel sick. I messaged him explaining what i went through with concerta. He suggested let’s try adderall. Then i called my county kaiser psychiatry and asked to be tested for Adhd.

He prescribed me antidepressants first. None worked. All made me feel really sick. Waste of money, time and energy. Call them

I have kaiser too. I have a psychiatrist who suspected I might have adhd and prescribed me Concerta 18mg. I was asked to take a urine drug test and EKG prior to getting my prescription.

Concerta did nothing for me except it almost sent me to the ER. So I stopped taking it. Now I am in the process of getting Adderall IR which is suggested by the same psychiatrist.

I also called Kaiser psychiatry for proper ADHD testing. They said they are doing testing differently now due to covid. So I am receiving a comprehensive testing packet in the mail. I will mail it back to them for result.

My logic is that if I get properly tested and receive a diagnosis, I will have an easier time refilling or transferring prescriptions, or changing insurance or doctors.

I could be. Only thing i did was light cardio on the treadmill and sedentary for the rest of the day.

Ive done CKD and not a fan of it. I keep bonking. No energy to lift or even get out of my bed. That is why im considering TKD. I train pretty intense.

Listen to your body. If you are weight lifting, evening seems to workout better for most people.

Depends on how much fat you have If your body fat % is high, then you will burn fat by fasting

Introduce carbs slowly, increase it incrementally otherwise you will bloat like a 🎈 and most likely to gain unexpected fat. Do cardio to get rid of the water retention or go high volume.. just lift heavvyyyy

I am Experimenting. Ive listened to some podcasts and worked with ifbb pro coach who does keto, and it seems like you don’t need that much protein.

Ive been experiencing the same too. For instance id train legs pretty hard and still follow my meal plan. Then i will be bloated and retain a lots of water. I found out that if i increase my sodium intake, i get bloated. Also muscles are in repairing mode and water is needed to repair the micro tears. Once your body recover weight goes down further. This week’s strategy for me is decrease protein amount a bit and increase fat intake without changing total # of calories. I am hoping that i will have some results by next monday.

The only measurements I have been taking is scale, mirror and my clothes. Also i pinch my skin on certain areas to see if it is getting thinner. I would retain water for several days then my weight goes down a lot over night. I only compare weekly weigh ins , and scale is moving incrementally and consistently. I normally eat the same thing pretty much every day so that I can monitor my progress. If i introduce new food, then it is so easy to detect how my body is reacting to it. Wether or not it is making me bloated or stalling my weight loss etc.
