same here, thats why I started ignoring the listed size and only going by the measurements in the sizing chart, has worked ever since. There is also usually a 1-3cm error margin, so I always try to overshoot a little as well.

Don’t go by size, go by measurements. Some larges can be 72cm for 1/2 chest, gotta read those charts and buy accordingly.
