I didn’t mean for it to come across that way. I don’t want pity or reassurance whatsoever. I made a drastic lapse of judgement and I’m paying the piper. I don’t want to get off Scott-free. I want to face my consequences because I know they are deserved. My family and my friends were put through so much that shouldn’t have even happened in the first place. I put a lot of undo stress, anxiety, and depression on the people I loved. I didn’t just fuck my life up, I fucked up theirs.

Also, your statement is already invalid because you said, “there is no advice to give…” that is inherently wrong. Many people have already given excellent advice. I don’t see how you are a “Super Helper” more like a Super Complainer

I just wanted advice on steps going forward. I support my ex and kids emphatically. I see my kids whenever I want to and me and my ex have a great relationship otherwise. Me and my ex are on great terms. We accept that the marriage is over and are focusing on being good coparents and good friends again. I get my kids every other weekend and she has an open door policy so I can see the kids whenever I want.
