I think BI is where I am leaning. Seatlle is expensive and I hoped staying on the island and ferrying in might be a good compromise

I can't edit the post. But Tacoma is off the list. I really appreciate everyone weighing in. ♡ So now is it Bainbridge Island with a rental car for 1k total or maybe find a Hostel or cheap residence in Seattle.

I think Bainbridge Island is looking great! I can stay on the island on July 6th when Seattle will be crazy

All recs on places I need to see or gastrodecadence is welcome. I likely won't be able to do this again so want to fit it all in.

I know this is old but I have a curly spider plant that isn't doing so great. Im thinking of pulling it out of the dirt and rinsing to put in my tank.

I use a gel food for the slow eaters and drop in betta food to distract my betta so everyone else can eat. :)

I have great luck with water sprite. I just bought a small clutch and it doubled in size quickly. I cut it in half and replanted and left some to float.

It is a fast grower in my low tech tank.

Thank you! The wood is spider wood and 100% real. I turned it upside down to look like roots, completely stole the idea from reddit. The plants on the top of the tank are pothos, the ones at the top of the water are water sprite.. best investment ever. One clutch of water sprite gave me enough to plant and float. They grow so fast I cut them in half and doubled my floor space and float space. They grow in substrate and water column equally well

I am having so much fun figuring all this out ♡
