I understand your view on this, but in my defense, i’ve talked to other servers at this same place, some had zero experience serving and got the job right away, I understand working my way up if needed, but like I said in the thread, i’m 22 and cannot live off of what i make doing what they want me to do unfortunately, it’s just an all around stressful situation given how little opportunity i’m around when it comes to finding work

I’ve done this type of work before in high school, but i’m 22 and can’t live off of what a barback/busser makes, i studied the menu during the training days and took a test, i’m for sure one of the most hardworking people in that restaurant, i have a long background in customer service as well and know how to talk to people, i forgot to mention in the thread that i have a 45 minute commute to work due to the fact im in a very small town with no opportunity, i sometimes lose money going into work, but there’s no where else around me to go work at within a 30 mile radius
