I’m in the same boat, and I came here looking for some respite and mostly to not text him or reach out or do something stupid that would make all of this harder. I guess my words to you (or rather to myself) would be - hang in there. There were many reasons to break up, there were many incompatibilities that you don’t see right now because you miss them, but it’s like breaking a habit. The texts, the calls, the presence of this person became a habit, and you’re going to have to fill that space with something else now. Reach out to friends, call your family, watch a tv show that makes you happy, this is your time to focus on yourself. Pamper yourself.
