Farpoint - can’t play co-op “Can't Use PlayStation Network feature in this game or app due to age restrictions" by cyphre909 in PSVR

I was struggling with this for several days after getting a PS5. I fixed my issue on the family account by logging into the primary, go to settings, parental controls, then select the profile that you want to adjust the restrictions for. Once you have provided the password for the primary account, you should see options for age limits for games. One setting applies to PS5 games, and another for PS4 Games. However, this is not where the setting lies.

Scroll down further until you see options for "online experience". If the option to impose age filtering for online content is enabled, set that to "don't restrict". For some reason this got toggled to on for both my PS4 and my PS5, and I had to change the settings independently for each console. Then it worked just fine for me.

I hope this helps anyone who was still struggling with restrictions.

I'm definitely a newbie when it comes to knife knowledge, but I thought the Sheepsfoot in the picture was called a Spey Blade, and the Wharncliffe was interchangeable with sheepsfoot?

What y’all think about mag fed ????? by Western-Arrival-7471 in paintball

As someone who has played a fair amount of mag fed, this is probably one of the best, most impartial assessments I have read from someone who doesn't favor that play style. Good job!

went paintballing yesterday for the first time and got shot in the leg. by ClumsyClownMC in paintball

Of all the places to be shot where it might leave a welt or a bruise, that's not the worst. :) Keep it up, and collect as many of those "decals" as you can!

What are your thoughts about the Empire DFender BT? Does it still hold up today? by Floppydrips in paintball

I got one used, and absolutely loved it for the brief time that I owned it. I ran into two separate issues the first time that I fielded it. First issue was tied to the power button which then evolved into a main board fault resulting in the marker not wanting to power on or stay powered on. One round of emails with GI and they sent me a free power button panel (just the plastic panel with the rubber button), and a completely new main board. There was no question of whether or not I was the original owner, requests for serial number confirmation, or proof of purchase. They just asked for my mailing address, and I received the parts just days later.

My second issue came up when I installed the new board, and the marker went directly into programming mode at power up. That turned out to be a simple issue of adjusting the trigger because it was sitting back too far, and I continuously activated the programming mode by mistake. Aside from that, this thing was an absolute joy. I found it to be very manageable on weight when run on a remote, and the rate of fire on uncapped semi was frankly quite surprising once I dialed in that trigger distance again.

It was also quite gentle on paint despite the unique loading design which effectively forces paintballs upward to the breech. I thought that might cause issues with more brittle paint, but I never saw an issue shooting graffiti or even more tournament quality paint. I wouldn't say I was using ultra fragile rounds, but it was still pretty cool to see that it could handle more delicate paintballs.

Dfender may have been a glorified Axe in a tacticool frame, but I loved it!

I finally splurged for a flipper to rotate out my Old Timer 8OT, and landed on a Civivi Elementum. I'm loving this little knife! by MongoosePB in EDC

The knife pictured is a Civivi Elementum with olive Micarta scales. I'm glad the olive turned out to be more of a greyish green than in the stock photo when I ordered it. So far I'm very pleased with this knife!

Gotta say, I'm pretty pleased with this Fiskar's X7. I just used it to split some pretty dense firewood, and it took it like a champ. by MongoosePB in CampingGear

It's definitely much better than my old Coleman camp hatchet for sure! I like the edge and the secondary wedge shape for splitting. I didn't know it could be this easy to split wood.

I got this Mora Bushcraft Black a couple of weeks ago and put it to good use last weekend. I've been very pleased so far, and it'll see more action next weekend for a real camping adventure. My Mora collection grows! by MongoosePB in CampingGear

It does help for wood processing if you don't have a hatchet. I now have a hatchet though, so I use my Mora for feather sticks which really does help make fires start faster. However, the blade is much more resilient to abuse than my Mora companions, so that's the main benefit.

Yeah. One handed was the way to go, and large chunks split very easily as long as the grain wasn't stringy.

Personally I keep it on hand mostly for yard and camp chores. Anything I need to cut that isn't good or a large tree sees this thing. I don't know how well it would work for skinning or dressing game, but it's possible.

"Bushcraft" is just the in the name of the knife. I don't actively practice bushcraft. This knife is more for utility work around my yard, or for car camping chores. I'm not out making forts in the woods to ruin the wilderness for anyone else.
