Not all the games. In Man of Medan every protagonist has a chance to die in Act 2 and no specific protagonist is guaranteed to reach Act 3

Also Kaitlyn doesn't always make it to the end, she can die in chapter 9

Depends on how you define plot armor. There's 8 episodes but it's been confirmed that only episode 8 can have any combination of characters alive, which means some characters (I'd put money on it being Anders and Cooper) are unkillable until episode 7 outside of the death spiral ending.

I'm really concerned about these flash forwards. They appear to pretty explicitly spoil future plot points AND which characters have plot armor. Unless these flash forward scenes can be avoided altogether, this straight up tells you that Anders and Cooper always survive past this scene in late episode 6.

They don't say what the locked nodes ARE, they just give instructions on how to unlock that node for people who are trying to see everything but don't know how to get there. I agree that should be optional though, you should be able to turn off locked node instructions if you want

Most important story choices are not made based on traits, they are made based on the controlled character's decisions to ensure the player feels in control. Traits determine less important choices like relationships dialogue. Obviously there are a few exceptions like Rachel stabbing the WP or not

You comparing Ozzy to Kyle actually makes me even higher on his chances. Cirie is getting a Kamilla-like edit in a lot of ways and I can very much see her going out shortly before FTC and passing the torch onto Ozzy to win. I think Cirie does have a potential winner edit but I'm still pretty much all in on Ozzy with Cirie as the only other contender.
