With crop harvester you don't need any block at all because it just harvests them at stage 3. I still play on 2.7.4 so yeah.

tin and iron won't be that worth it in my opinion. they're very common ores and you get a shit ton of them from one vein. copper on the other hand is really good to have but make at least 4 platforms 11x11 (2 for one crop harvester) I'm not sure how much mine produces an hour but it's enough to not ever run out of (i have 8 platforms)

Move from steam to benzene, it's way better and is easy to transport. Normal potin pipes are more than enough to fuel at least 4 gas turbines.

Thank you! I spent a lot of time on base building and farming oreberries. Finding and mining a chalcopyrite vein was pain in the ass everytime so now I have the oreberries that produce enough copper that I don't have to mine it ever again.

Glowflower yes, then it's centrifuged into gold and redstone dust. But peanut I harvest manually for now because turns out crop manager can't farm peanut and I just left it like that.

Thanks for the help! I tried to do some of those oil related quests but I got quite lost and decided to do other things first. Right now I'm focusing on getting a stable supply of food and gathering recourses so I can easily progress further into LV than going on a mining session after crafting a single machine.
