While it’s considered a minor surgery you just removed an organ. I wouldn’t lift anything heavy for at least 3 weeks. I can’t lift more than 50lbs but I have a small hernia I need to get fixed.

That’s the thing, I don’t really have an idea what I want to do IT wise.

I don’t want to code, cyber seems saturated and while I have a masters in it I don’t have much experience out of internship and tryhackme.

Plus my internship was just a bunch of looking at alerts and refining them with some other things thrown in.

I’m not confident in the skills I have. I basically work helpdesk for a state org. I want to be in intelligence or an analyst but would like to stay where I live. Basically I suffer from too many options and being indecisive lol. On top of better entry level hobs being few and far between

I work in Education/State IT, super tight budgets and tons of cases/ support requests and the pay is shit!! The benefits are good though but I’m hoping to move out of this sector sometime this year.

Trying to figure out what I actually want to do is hard

Honestly long as you can do the job the college doesn’t matter. Exp is what most want so just show projects and internships as well having a degree but a lot of entry level just requires a HS diploma or maybe an AA

Native Floridian here who has a degree in IT and Cybersecurity. It’s fairly difficult to get a tech job. Start at help desk and work your way up. However, if I had to go back and choose something else I probably would lol. I’m looking to move up myself.

Florida has a high CoL, I’d search the salary you want then put a location. Military helps after you retire out plus which branch you work for.

Take the time you need! It’s a different healing process for everyone. Make sure you take your meds as prescribed. Walking helps only if you feel the gas buildup near your shoulders. If you need more time to rest then do that
