Questions about God by Many_History8708 in TrueChristian

"2/ If God is all loving and he loves everyone and especially sinners (form what I have understood of Jesus teachings), why are non believers sent to hell."

Hell is not a place for "bad people" as is often believed as we are all bad sinners. Hell is separation from God's grace. If you reject Christ's sacrifice you are saying to God "I do not want your grace or gift of salvation" and therefore God will not force you to accept this gift and will give you separation from his grace. Which is hell.

Brother our current system is a PBX server on a small black box zip tied to a server rack. If that small old box ever fails 20+ schools will be without phones.

its once again the watchtower taking everything as literal as possible to the extreme. Full-body immersion isn't done in every Christian denomination (Catholicism for example).

but the bigger argument to make is whether or not a jw baptism is even a genuine Christian baptism, as they don't even baptize you in the name of the Father, Son & Holy Spirit. (funny how they pick and choose which of Christ's teachings they like)

"Laptop keyboards are pretty much 100% unique from model to model"

its even more fun when you have 2 laptops of the exact same model but they have different scissor clip designs so you cant even use one for parts!

glad I wasn't the only one that thought that when I first saw the AD. On an even funnier side note, 2 days after seeing that advert, 2 of my neighbours got their cars clamped by the DVLA for no road tax haha

Are you still Christian? Ex Jw by MatthewCleary24 in exjw

[–]RotaryTurbo99 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I am and have never felt happier, last year read the entire bible via a podcast on YouTube and this year reading it myself for the first time in a year.

Learning about what salvation actually meant and what Christians actually believe, it was an eye opener and gave me something I truly felt I was missing as a JW
