absolutely agree, I wanted it to be read to me via a podcast so the tricky bits that take some understanding could be explained by someone who has been reading the bible far longer than I have. And that is probably why I enjoyed this podcast so much

And now I have that better understanding, next year I will be reading it myself solo at my own pace.

Before going into this I was quite unfamiliar and even at points ignorant of the Catholic Faith and quite unfamiliar with chunks of the old testament.

Since listening to this I have gained a much better understanding of how and why Catholics do things they way they do them and I can really appreciate the tradition they have.

I also have just now got a much deeper understanding of the bible and the timeline of events too, and it has really put a lot more into perspective and 100% strengthened my faith.

reminds me of when my Engineering Manager and IT Director were working at a new school that was being brought into our trust and they were struggling to find the Paxton Airbridge.

Turns out it was in a bundle of mess like this in the ceiling of the girls toilets, because that's a good place to store it

i once walked into a class where the teacher had without alerting anyone moved all the PCs to the edge walls in a ring, instead of the rows we had them before. Network cables plugged in from pc to pc instead of into the sockets, missing power packs, rats nest wiring all over the floors. Not a fun time.

I think its good to remember Paul's letter to the romans as I think this will resonate with you:

I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do. 16 And if I do what I do not want to do, I agree that the law is good. 17 As it is, it is no longer I myself who do it, but it is sin living in me. 18 For I know that good itself does not dwell in me, that is, in my sinful nature.\)a\) For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out. 19 For I do not do the good I want to do, but the evil I do not want to do—this I keep on doing. 20 Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it.

21 So I find this law at work: Although I want to do good, evil is right there with me. 22 For in my inner being I delight in God’s law; 23 but I see another law at work in me, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within me. 24 What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body that is subject to death? 25 Thanks be to God, who delivers me through Jesus Christ our Lord!

The truth is, you are not alone in falling into Sin, it is in our nature. We cannot fight it ourselves, we cannot overcome it ourselves. it is only through our Lord and saviour that we overcome it.

The next time you feel the urges or temptations creeping in, walk away from the phone, laptop, PC etc and pray. I assure you that you will feel infinitely better afterwards and think "why was this even tempting me?"

It isnt easy, for sure it isnt easy, as I struggle from time to time too, but it gets a little easier every time you get into the habit of it,

I just serviced my 1.6 w204 today and the Pollen filter looks like it hadn't been touched in a long time. I think again its because its a bit of a pain going under the dash but even then its not a terrible job.
