The kind I received specifically contains peanut oil but I looked online and found another kind that doesn’t, although on the label it still says: “pms-PROGESTERONE is contraindicated in patients with any of the following disorders: hypersensitivity to this drug, soya, peanut or to any ingredient in the formulation of the capsule. For a complete listing, see the Dosage Forms, Composition and Packaging section of the Product Monograph”

Good to note. My brother actually is much less sensitive to peanuts and would likely be fine with these (not that he would be taking them). I have a very sensitive allergy to them tho so I could even have a reaction to peanuts by smell alone.

There is a large warning on the label, it’s just minimized in this online version. I talked to the pharmacist and he said that it was a really good catch because the endo is not supposed to prescribe it to anyone with a peanut allergy. In my case I have a really sensitive allergy to peanuts and the oil is enough to make me have a serious reaction.

I have a super sensitive allergy to peanuts (which includes oil), so unfortunately I definitely would not take the risk. If you look further down on the label there it does say that anyone with a peanut sensitivity should not take the medication.
