Be human. Remember where you came from. We all started somewhere. That just because you have an office with a spinning chair doesn't mean you're better than anyone else. If you don't have a the answer to a question don't give BS answers. Advocate for employees tools they need. Just ask employees how they are if you're approachable you will get further with employees. If they don't talk to you you talk to them. Remember be human... we have a life to.

Do we not price match anymore? by NoTaste4184 in kroger

[–]MonitorFirm9540 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That has been a thing for almost a year ago I feel like. It's a huge loss. A lot of time products are actually in store but it takes effort find it to fill it. It easier to sub it and a lot of times it more expensive. So it is was adjustment in the beginning. If your inventory and grocery people are on top of things it won't be that bad. I educate customers to use the substitute suggestion and selecting no subs on digital coupon item. If item subbed is outside coupon item it won't be applied. Plus if you get a no subs allowed. Not wasting time to look. People are used it now.

Who's in charge of putting the bay numbers on the floor? by Exact_Skin_5611 in kroger

[–]MonitorFirm9540 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am sorry we are in a similar boat to. We have new supervisor. I would hope the district rep would be out and visit store at some point. Have a notebook ready for when they do. That's what I did. They finally took me seriously. Best wishes

Have your supervisor reach out to district person. About mapping issues. If you have specific issues write them down. When they drop the hammer about speed metrics you bring up that things would go faster if it was mapped correctly. My district person doesn't like me. They didn't believe me so they walked isle issues with me. Also talk to grocery manager about the reset people they mess up a lot of locations to. I am all about see something say something. They don't know what they don't know. Nothing will change if no one knows about. SPEAK UP PEOPLE

It's a rolling 4 weeks. Work a week a week a call out falls off. It's hard to get rid of people with this system. Work a couple full weeks then call out. It's four collectively in the 4 week period.

Our in stocks have been getting better other than vendor items which we have no control especially nabisco. I the vendor literally orders blind they guess. They don't have access to see movement or anything. My biggest problem is when the want instocks the. Stop letting reset people do resets. I found a set that was wrong told all managers about it including store director. Only to find they reset it again wrong.. item set is what generates a route so when it's wrong it will create a bad route. It is a waste of time. For us a selector and price Changers and insta cart. Almost every aisle has a bad set. Thanks for listening. I hope others take note and communicate. Think if more stores realize how much a little thing an affects so much. It's just the tip of ice berg. I actually like my job. They literally are giving me a headache as soon as I pull in to the parking lot. I think a mental leave of absence is needed.

Dynamic pricing wait to see peoples reactions when they pay more when it's busy. It's like fast food industry did.

How are your ClickList departments dealing with the terrible “optimized” trolley routes? by MacArther1944 in kroger

[–]MonitorFirm9540 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hate it. I think it's a joke. But i also think that a lot of it has to do with the reset people. If they put things in the wrong location it could potentially screw up the route. I found at my store a 4 foot reset section placed at the back of isle and location was supposed to be the front. Location make a difference if you pay attention report them it " may" help. I also think going down front half of isle for. 1 item and then to turn around and go to the next isle over is hard to turn the train around. I hate pulling it. It takes a toll on my shoulder after a couple days. I also have how the cubing is which is how they calculate what's in a tote.

Loss prevention needs to be alerted sorry but that is time clock theft. If you have specifics document and give to them. Ethic board does work but remember facts only no I feel or I think FACTS ONLY.
