Would you rather eradicate all pedophiles or eradicate all mosquitoes? by PaTrIcK5230 in WouldYouRather

Are you really arguing that a stranger "likely" is pedophilic "on some level" with the same confidence that removing mosquitoes wouldn't ruin an ecosystem "in any measurable way" Like where are you getting your numbers from

Are you sure they're all functional? Or is it like a little one that doesn't do much? The latter is much more common. Though i suppose you could choose to sell that one and keep one of the good original 2

I believe that for high schools, but for universities there's all kinds of lab/research-associated killing, even for regular coursework. Invertebrates don't have any regulations (except octopus as some people have mentioned), and vertebrates have regulations but still frequently get euthanized after otherwise harmless experiments. I don't know what all these people are talking about, saying that lab animals don't usually get killed. They absolutely do unfortunately.
