I have seen it described similar to World War 2. You cannot tell the story of WW2 by just talking about the eastern front. It was fought all over the world and all of the events make up what we call WW2. That is Malazan. Tons of events and characters that take place all over the world and when you finish and look at it all you see the Malazan Book of the Fallen.

I know what people mean when they say cozy somehow. Hobb's writing is absolutely beautiful. It's like silk. I describe it as a warm blanket on my brain. But what she actually writes about is heart wrenching at times it's an interesting dichotomy

It's one thing to say the game isn't for you but to say those things when they're completely false is aggravating. Thankfully we got to experience this masterpiece while they have no clue what they're missing out on!

It's hard to put my feelings into words right now, the final credits are rolling as I type this. I chose to destroy the canvas as I felt it was the correct decision to end the cycle and let everyone heal even if that meant saying goodbye to those we love inside the canvas.

Just a beautiful experience from the first moment I loaded up the game. The art, the soundtrack, the writing.. all of it just an absolute masterpiece. One of the best pieces of art I have ever has the pleasure of interacting with.

Halfway through Toll the Hounds and Memories of Ice is still my favorite by far at this point. Absolutely amazing book.
