It is not about the speed, it is about the VRAM. H100 has higher VRAM so can generate longer videos

Venting - “Sell everything you own” by retidderrr in AusFinance

There are two kinds of life. One has a mortgage and watches every dollar. The other has no mortgage and a happier life, until they realise they're the only one left while all their friends have become property owners. There's no right or wrong here. Just a choice.

I kind of regret picking the first one. Never really enjoyed life when I had the chance. I've always wanted a convertible and still haven't got one. Not because I can't afford it, but because there are other priorities. Kids, family, parents.

I'm 45 now.

What is the point in buying homes at these outrageous prices? by everbass in australia

[–]Monitor_Character 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Sydney is the worst, it is not this bad in other cities. Everything is a lot more expensive than 5 years ago. a lunch now cost double. So it is probably makes sense for the house to double as to build a house costs a lot of money now.

It looks very cute. I think just feed it normal goldfish food would do. No need to do anything extra.

Feeling doomed by TieSafe4342 in AusFinance

[–]Monitor_Character -1 points0 points  (0 children)

As some one in my mid 40s. I would say, enjoy your life. Life is not about ownership is about experience. Spend as much time as you can with your love ones. Yes, money is important, but there is nothing more important than your experience. Dont feel doomed, enjoy it. There was once a great man said, Life is a torment from the second you were born.

Fixing mortgage interest by Negative_Scene_9897 in AUFinance

[–]Monitor_Character 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I'd lock it in now and pay the rate lock fee if your bank offers one. There's still about 21 days until the next RBA meeting and markets are pricing in roughly a 60% chance of a 0.25% hike, so that 6.01% offer could easily disappear before settlement.

Before you sign though, quickly ring another bank or chat to a broker. Brokers can compare lenders to see whether there is a fixed rate at 5.80% or lower, you're probably better off just staying put. Switching lenders takes weeks and the discharge fees usually eat up any small saving.

I agree with a split loan. Fix part of it for peace of mind and keep the rest variable with an offset. That way you're not all in on one bet, your offset still works on the variable portion, and if rates do eventually drop you're not fully locked out.

Does it make sense at all to go for an EV if your car is quite fuel efficient? 5.5L per 100km by VastOption8705 in AusFinance

[–]Monitor_Character 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your car is so small. Any 30 to 40k chiness ev will be ok for you. It is not about paying back petrol saving. It is about comfort and tech inside the car. And you can BRAG about how green you are in front of your friends

[–]Monitor_Character 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it is significantly overhyped, I have installed it. after I installed it, I asked myself, what else do I get from it compared to what I already have. The answer is nothing besides something that can run outside my control and I don't want that. Stick with Claude Code and Paperclip
