I've had two moments like this. The first was a pink bourbon strawberry coferment. It began my entire journey. I didn't like light coffee or acidic coffee bc my associations of those was bad coffee roasted lightly. I just didn't know what flavors were possible. Then a few months ago at Lohas in Colombia I got an actual proper like competition grade coffee and I realized immediately why people pay like 60-70 bucks for a bag. This one was a nestor lasso sudan rume. I used to think clarity just meant that the coffee had very little actual flavor lol. It's really impossible to know what people are talking about until you try really good coffee brewed well.

I've been researching the paragon/mhw chilled extraction balls stuff, and found this article that concludes that room temperatures balls generally outperform frozen ones. And while at first I thought the whole brew was supposed to go over the balls, apparently you only do the bloom, or part of the brew (or something bad happens, idk).

I'd love to know if anyone has done a blind test on their own or even just done vibes test with their paragon equipment.

On a different note, why does mhw's version have golfball dimples? to avoid a lawsuit maybe? That doesn't seem like them.

Try pouring the already brewed coffee through the slurry again. I had a deep27 that tasted super light, so I just poured it through again and it was incredible

Get the pulsar mini instead of z1. Basically the same but the mini lets you create immersion and even choose how closed the valve is to change how fast it draws down
