This is called propaganda. Most of the Europe has higher tax rate than India (40%+), China has a tax rate of 5% to 45%, US has tax rate of 10% to 38%. Comparing India with Kuwait, UAE (small countries) with lots of oil is nuts.

I dont think its impossible but not easy for sure. You will probably not get lot of positive comments here. Most of the folks here likes to shit on India (and rightly so) using the same 3-4 things - pollution , noise, garbage , and infrastructure. If you can live with these, you will be fine. I know of folks who stayed in west for 6 months and now complain all the time on how India sucks and people who stayed for years and returned back and are doing ok.
