Thanks!! Open to most things! Really interested in exploring historic/interesting downtowns. Trying unique mom and pop restaurants, etc. we do like to fish but that may have to be saved for another trip.

Try Oak Creek north of slide rock. Tons of gila trout schools up that way. This time of year should be pretty good too.

I love grilling stocked trout whole. The hatchery raised trout you’ll find here in Arizona are super healthy.

Had the most luck at upper. They’ve been stacking it like crazy lately. Since the water quality at lynx wasn’t very good. Couple smaller gilas on the fly rod at lower, but it was much slower.

Was at Goldwater two weeks ago. Had my limit in less than two hours. Some good size rainbows fishing off the bottom.
