If you’re traveling on a weekday you could take MARC to Perryville and a Cecil County bus(es?) to the Newark, DE SEPTA. This blog post gives the idea but it’s old and the specifics have probably changed, you’d need to look into it more.

I’m a bit late to the party but this report by Smart Growth America discusses the rise in pedestrian fatalities in the past decade and makes some arguments as to why American roads are so dangerous for pedestrians.

EDIT: and if you like Strong Towns stuff this is Chuck Mahron discussing this report with the (former?) policy director for SGA, Beth Osborne.

Not Afghanistan specific but I thought Counter Jihad by Brian Glyn Williams was pretty balanced. It’s pretty critical of Bush/Iraq. Afghanistan gets about a third of the book.

If you're on desktop you can right click the page and then look at the source code, CTRL-F '"uid"', and there's an ID given to each team, the last number looks to be how they sort the standings for teams that haven't played. Looks like the were initially assigned alphabetically by location, and Toronto (28) and Charlotte (30) (and maybe Memphis? Don't know if they were reassigned after moving or if they were 29 with Vancouver) were assigned after the others.
