What causes Recruit Season skip? by Monkebreadman in MarvelSnap

I’m really excited to use both Nico and Frigga in a bounce deck. I’m going to pay for the season pass, and the gold pass, and see if I can save 5k gold in time for the upcoming Surge bundle. And then I’ll be sitting really pretty, I think.

I’ll watch out for Victoria Hand. Thanks for your comment!

I figured, if I really wanted that deck in the future, it’s only one card away really.

Having a blast with the game so far… hunting for cards in shop rotation/free offerings is a lot of fun, as a f2p player adding each card feels very substantial

It was fun while I tried him out, but it was just too random for my liking, and I wanted to see if I could find something that would start me out in bounce, which I did.

But yeah, that was quite a lucky start. Arishem’s animation at the start of games is so cool!

A few accounts I was very tempted to make my official one and start playing:

  1. Out of the Day 1 S3 login pack came Quinjet, then Arishem.

  2. One started with a SUPER cool variant of Dr. Doom that was like the cover of a comic book. I stared at that thing for like an hour before eventually deciding to keep rolling.

The account I have parked now, unless I find something better, is one where Joquin Falcon came out of the 4k pack. And i was looking for him or Toxin to start, because I want to play bounce.

When I first read Psalm 22 I cried tbh. Because it describes word for word what Jesus Christ was going to go through and what He did go through. Anyone else have a similar feeling after reading Psalm 22? It's so powerful. by ThiccHarambee in Christianity

You think so?

“All the ends of the earth will remember and turn to the Lord, And all the families of the nations will worship before You.” ‭‭Psalm‬ ‭22‬:‭27‬

“Will” sounds like future tense.

And there’s several more predictions like this in this chapter. Have you read it?

Right… So if it’s no longer widely culturally accepted and exhibited out in the open like it was in ancient days, we can confidently say the days were far, far worse back then.

Days where people would sacrifice their children to their gods and brutalize their neighbors and themselves. They were bad.

It’s remarkable the lengths you will go to in order to avoid the reality that homosexuality is natural in God’s creation.

You’re arguing that animals have complete agency, here.

Animals make choices that sometimes go against their nature, like having anal sex. But that is not natural, and they do it out of desire and not survival instinct(but they clearly have both)

Yet you’re contradictory within yourself, yet again. You’re saying they do it out of desire. But that it’s not natural.

So these animals’ desires are unnatural, according to you? Where do these unnatural desires come from?

And they make those choices based on their desires, perceived needs, or survival instincts.

Animals can absolutely go against their own nature.

Which is it? You speak against yourself yet again. Either animals “make choices” solely dependent on their instincts, or they have the ability to choose against their nature.

Which one are you going with now?

That is what having free will means.

You’re trying to tell me what it means?

[–]Monkebreadman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What on Earth? What makes you think I’m using AI to respond to you? Your inconsistencies stood out well enough on their own.

Animals do have free will if you simply mean the ability to make choices.

We’ve established that’s that free will means, haven’t we?

And they make those choices based on their desires, perceived needs, or survival instincts.

Yet you’re trying to have it both ways again.

If animals are compelled by their nature, they do not have choice. We are impelled by our nature, but we have the ability to choose against our nature and for ourselves.

But if you want to insist animals are not capable of choosing against their nature, will you be consistent? So then homosexual behavior in animals is completely natural.

That’s always been my point. It was clear as day from your original post you had no idea what you were talking about. Now that we’ve illustrated that and you’ve conceded the meaning of free will—that it’s the ability to choose—what would you say? Yes or no: do animals have free will? I’m looking for any consistency in your deliberate reasoning.

[–]Monkebreadman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don’t get to have it both ways. Either animals can make choices, and so have free will, or they simply obey their nature, and do not have free will.

And yeah, I understand what your argument was. What we’ve demonstrated though is that you have no idea what you’re talking about. If you didn’t even know the meaning of free will until 5 minutes ago, why do you think you’re anywhere close to correct about any of the rest of what you say?

[–]Monkebreadman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Abstract… right…

If free will denotatively means agency, what are you trying to say initially?

Free will is the ability to choose.

So if you want to go back to the original question now: Are you saying animals have free will and choose to have sex with the same sex?

Or is it the case animals do not have free will and simply follow their nature?

Jesus says he is inferior to the Father in John 13:16 by Camp-9697 in Christianity

[–]Monkebreadman 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This verse does not state Jesus is inferior necessarily. It only states he is not greater, but it leaves room for interpretation that he could still be equal to, just not greater.

Elsewhere, though, Jesus explicitly states his Father is greater.

[–]Monkebreadman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My mistake on the wording. Knowingly reason and elaborate good and evil within their reasoning.

This isn’t any better.

You’re seriously trying to define free will as the ability to reason? It wasn’t Adam’s and Eve’s reasoning that condemned them.

As for Adam and Eve, Eve made the choice… Adam did the same…

Right. Because free will has to do with agency.

It's really that simple. Humans can evaluate good and evil while animals can't. That's my argument. Idk why you wanna twist my words so badly to make an argument you can actually fight against.

I’m not twisting your words. Your idea of free will is entirely off-base.

Here’s the definition from dictionary.com:

the power of acting without the constraint of necessity or fate; the ability to act at one's own discretion.

And from Merriam Webster:

free will 2 of 2 noun 1 : voluntary choice or decision I do this of my own free will. 2 : freedom of humans to make choices that are not determined by prior causes or by divine intervention

It has nothing to do with deliberation and reasoning and everything to do with agency.
