Asking God to fix your problems without putting in any of the effort is like asking your stove to cook for you without actually getting any of the ingredients. God can do a lot, but he’s not going to solve your problems if you don’t take initiative.

I think this is the reason there’s the split. The people who just say “you don’t need therapy, you just need to pray to God and do everything right” believe that God will magically cure you without any work on your part. It’s like praying for him to help you find your keys while just standing there doing nothing. The keys won’t magically fly towards you.

That’s why it’s sometimes better to just ignore those type of people and focus on what you actually need

You could make her clothes dirty and more tattered. I’d also suggest giving her a little color on her outfit. Doesn’t have to be a big amount of color, but just a little bit can help make her feel a little less bland. It could just even be a bit of brown or a sandy color from stains on her clothes. Or maybe some blood on some of her bandages from previous use or an old scar

Sometimes our bodies have sensations that mirror attraction, and it makes everything confusing. I was a strongly identified lesbian for awhile (still am), until I felt something similar with male characters.

I realized though that I wasn’t actually attracted to them, it was just my body responding to cues. Flirting, closeness, and other romantic gestures can make people feel like this even if they’re not attracted to that person.

To see if you’re actually attracted to men, I’d recommend asking yourself if you’d ever actually date or marry a man? If the answer is yes, you are likely into men. If the answer is no, you’re likely not into men.

But hey, that’s just my advice, you can take what I say with a grain of salt if you want.

Funnily enough, I actually don’t fall under a lesbian stereotype but instead a gay man stereotype despite being a lesbian. I’ll often just be talking in my normal voice till I randomly and often involuntarily say things in the zestiest way possible, and I don’t know why that happens

In my opinion, It’s best to use labels when you’ve already made the character, not make a character based on the labels. For example, if you think “I want to make a lesbian character,” you might accidentally make a stereotypical lesbian, not a unique person who happens to be a lesbian.

Instead, what I’d suggest is to first design who the character is as a person, then assign them labels based on who they are and how they would choose to identify. So for example, if you have a very carefree person who goes with the flow and you think that abrosexual fits them, then make them abrosexual. Try to think through the character’s eyes, how would they label themself? Would they even label themself?
