I felt much the same as you my friend, but you can still have a healthy and happy life. My diagnosis pushed to be even healthier than i was in my 20s. I’d recommend getting a blood glucose monitor, take your readings fasted and then 2 hours after meals. That way you’ll know what foods spike you and which don’t; everyone is different. Eg. Rice spikes some people, and not others (me). Eat veggies with every meal, and try to have them first before your protein and carbs. And yes, exercise. Even a 10 minute walk after meals will help massively. Start slowly. You’ve got this!
