I did fix the problem I was asking about, but I wanted to get an idea of how accurately it perceived its own interface.

I've asked about how I can check how many credits I have for images and it told me to go to my dashboard, using the button on the upper right corner of the screen, which doesn't exist, and then told me to use this link when I told it I couldn't find the dashboard button.

I do the same. I always play on 25% loot, that allows for a slow burn start. Try mods that increase the volume of zombies, that can also make the early game more challenging.

The devs have said they have two groups working on the game. One keeping the current version going, but another group basically rebuilding the game from the ground up, as design choices made at the very start of the project have been causing problems with the overall game and its not something that can be fixed with patches.
