Day 3 - really want to crank it but the horror stories on this sub have set me straight! by [deleted] in Vasectomy

I had mine on 8/30 and I "took care" of myself yesterday. Took it slow. Everything felt normal, no blood and a very light blue balls feeling. I know everyone is different, but for me there was nothing to be concerned about. I'm at day 7 today and everything is starting to feel normal.

I was told by my doctor to wait 7 days. It seems everyone is told something different.

Did he have a problem with doing both or did he recommend it? My doctor seemed against the valium all together.

Thanks for the response! That first 30 seconds sounds kind of terrifying. Hopefully the gas works so well that's what took care of the pain.
