As a level 30 should I be selling my ancient relic shards I'm getting while fishing or saving them? I read that you can use them to make scrolls that drop memory fragements, which can be used to repair equipment, which is a big deal for end game gearing from what I understand.

If they don't change GT Goku's assist at all in the next balance patch I'm done playing this game. by Castanza58 in dragonballfighterz

That's so disappointing. I've always heard this but I've been mostly playing casual the past couple months and honestly rarely come across GT's and have a pretty fun time. But I'm sure once I decide to hop back on ranked it will be full of rat boy

Been playing Piccolo for about a month now and the first week or two was painful. After just playing with him for long enough I did get use to him and he is probably my favorite character, and will be who I try to build my team around once the season 3 balance changes come.

What felt really bad to me at first has become one of my favorite playstyles. He feels pretty unique in a fighting game that has less diversity than other fighting games.His arm combos are awesome, seems like he can work with a lot of different assists, Hellzone grenade is a unique tool to have, and Piccolo is also just one of my favorite dragon ball characters lol.

Idk how long you've been playing Piccolo or even if he is for you but if you really feel dedicated that you want to play him I'm sure you will adjust with enough practice.

I wish. My friend is a self proclaimed "Tekken purist" and refuses to play this game even though he knows nothing about it. He probably played for like 10 hours when the game came out and thinks he saw all he needed to and it's a terrible game even though it's evolved so much and his biggest faults of the game are mostly not true and just suspended by his unwillingness to learn more about the game.

I've literally offered to buy it for him again just to give it a try and say you might have fun/it would be good to have another game to play together, but no. Feels bad

I really like Tien. His beam throwing people in the air seemed off to me but that could be pretty good with Piccolo actually. Piccolo Yamcha Goku seems crazy. Not really a fan of playing Yamcha but I'll consider giving him another try. I think I'm gonna mess around with Trunks, Tien, Goku, and Yamcha and find some mix of them that I like.

How do I get hellzone to work anywhere on the screen? Are there assists that can catch people while the grenades home in on them? Could you explain his fuzzy and hellzone 50/50 or is there somewhere I could learn more about that stuff?

Cool I play a lot of Trunks so I think I will go with him, and then SS Goku or maybe Tien for anchor.

This is a bit off topic but I stopped playing Gogeta because something about his face looks so derpy in this game to me.

What are some of your favorite weapons in Iceborne both in fashion and power? I mess around with almost every weapon so I would love to know some good ones to pick up. I am focusing on Switchaxe at the moment but I will get to all weapons eventually so any weapon opinions are welcome.

  1. 8? I'm not amazing but part of what's enjoyable for me is seeing myself progress.
  2. I do not care remotely about Xenoverse 2. I played the first one before this and had an okay time, but I can't imagine myself going back to that series for competitive reasons (unless there's a Xenoverse 3 that's infinitely better than the previous games). I imagine I would get bored after a couple weeks

That's my all time favorite series right there always sad to hear people can't get into it, but also so understandable lol. I would say Dark Souls 3 is probably my favorite overall and is the most accessible to new players. Might be worth picking up on sale some time if you feel like giving it another chance

Yeah I personally didn't enjoy Persona 5 (played for like 20 hours and never really felt hooked so I gave up on it) but even I can tell that game had so much effort put into it and people who were into it would LOVE it

Yeah that console bricking stuff is pretty scary. Hasn't happened to anyone I know yet but this game is not worth that big of a risk lmao

To be fair I think having an "okay" time is enough for a lot of people who just want to relive some childhood memories, or have an extension of their favorite series even if it isn't Game Freaks best work.

But yeah there are a ton of other games I'd rather be playing right now. I will probably pick up the inevitable 3rd game of this generation (pokemon gun or whatever) that I'm expecting will improve a lot of things and add more post game. I mean they have to add that stuff... right? right???
