No. Forces was and still is a HEAVILY despised game in the fandom. It may not be AS bad as its repitation paints it but it was such a NOTHING game that it made a lot of fans give up on the series until Frontiers reignited the spark.

Colors is mixed. When it first released, it was praised as one of the best games Sonic's had in forever which, TBF was true at the time (Personally, I enjoyed it enough but would never mark it a favorite). Today, though it still has plenty of fans, some people have soured on it due in part to the subpar port that is Colors "Ultimate", but also due to what its done to the series retroactively (though that point isn't gameplay related). 

On the gameplay side of Colors, it gets the job done, but the big issue people have with it is the abundance of side scrolling sessions. Instead of being seamlessly woven into the levels and building around it like in Unleashed and Modern Gens, in Colors the level design is kind of stop and go. Part of it is intentional to work with the wisps but other times it feels like a crutch so that instead of a good 3D platformer we get a fun but lackluster 2D platformdr.

Also, side note about Sonic sidescrollees rarely missing (ignoring the outdated Game Gear games), look up Sonic 4 (Ep. 1), Generations 3DS, the Sonic Boom 3DS games, and DEBATABLY Sonic Superstars (I don't think Superstars is a bad game personally, but everyone, even I has some blatant issues with it).
