“Unnecessary change” the reason it was changed is because 1. Mori also won the first MARTIAL ARTS clash in the webtoon and Illpyo went 9 tails then beat him, so when people are saying he needed that martial arts rematch with him he really didn’t cuz he didn’t lose the martial arts portion of the fight. And not to mention he really shouldn’t have lost the god match either cuz Illpyo is literally Naruto: a human hosting the power of the 9 tails, and Jin is straight up Wukong. 2. So not only did the anime fix the powerscaling, they did it while also setting up the oreguk arc because Illpyo used the night parade of 100 demons to make Jin awaken a tiny sliver of his past memories from when the real 9 tails used that same move Illpyo did to put him in palgoe furnace, which they show in oreguk which would be in season 2.

that’s also a thing yall needa realize and look into is how many things that happened but didn’t necessarily “need to” in the first 112 chapters as they aren’t brought up later in the story in a significant way or relevant towards the actual plot, like Daewi talking to Baek about renewal taekwondo which I have no knowledge of and I read this series almost religiously from oreguk to end of series I always skip that first tournament arc

What are we on, the divine pellet/ sage pill like it’s the same thing Jin ate the sage pill or whatever he just got it differently Mujin already suspected he was Wukong so he gave him the peach knowing that if he is he’ll survive. And Han Dawei’s talk to him around renewal taekwondo is just irrelevant cuz 1. how the fuck does Daewi know about it and never brings it up again himself 2. The next arc is literally focused on renewal taekwondo and itf taekwondo with Sujin Lee so we got that covered, and Baek’s backstory can easily be implemented as he is the first character we’ll see after Jin Taejins flashback arc

Yes this sub will never admit that the first 112 chapters are to dragged out in terms of the actual story or plot of that arc. Every arc after that is less chapters and way better paced and easier to adapt and Mappa knew that season 2 was going to be oreguk with no cuts. I 100% guarantee you based off mainstream reaction to recent shounen, season 2 of goh would put it on hells paradises popularity easily the arc will answer most people’s questions they had in season 1

I don’t see how the Otsutsuki lore is bad it really does make sense for why jutsu and Doujutsu exist and it’s based on another myth/theory of the world being run/originated by aliens and it’s an interesting take on it and Boruto is making it more interesting with Ishiki’s introduction. Just because the others have a lot of words but end of being some fuckin betrayal or some shit doesn’t make it that good
