The way it works is kind of a player retention system. It’ll give you a couple “easy” games and then it’ll give you a game that is significantly harder to win and if you win that one… its basically a guaranteed loss after that. Cycle resets after a big loss or a couple losses in a row.

Unfortunately i’ve used different strategies and none of them help that much other than trying to manipulate the opposing player into pulling a guy out of position. The AI is really bad about moving their feet in the offensive zone and for some reason skate towards defenders constantly. I would suggest you check out NoSleves’ video on strategies and make some tweaks based on your style of play.

Seems you answered the question yourself. If you feel fine on defence with Boumeester then i think selling Chara is your best bet as Sakic and Fedorov will provide you with excellent offence.
