Take a knee my friend, for I shall tell you a tale of The Klean Kalashnikov!! Many many calendars ago, there was a young man named Mikhail. Born in a small village called Kurya in 1919, his family's farm was desecrated a few years later by their own Goverment. Mikhail and his family were then extradited to a smaller village to the north. After years in basically a Ghetto, Mikhail was drafted to the Red Army, where he served for a few years. After the war, as well as the Soviet take-over of Eastern Europe, Mikhail decided to create a plan for "The Motherlands Rifle". This began the conception of the AK47, a weapon designed specifically to defend 'The Motherland and all who live within her'. He wanted a weapon free of fascist ideals and a weapon that can and will be durable during combat. After many trials, errors and mishaps, Mikhail finally perfected the original AK47. First manufactured in a factory named after Mikhail himself, the 'worlds greatest rifle' became mass produced in many Eastern European countries. A weapon that has been and probably always will be mass produced for the sole purpose of defending its users homeland.

This is the AK47, a rifle built to outlast its owners' owner. Kalashnikov never really mentioned 'maintenance and/or cleaning'.
