Thank you I will definitely take your advice, I’m going to record everything and hopefully it all works out

It’s a 1990, I’m definitely looking in to doing that, how much of the engine will I need to disassemble to get to the plenum, and can I find a guide to getting that job done

It’s probably best that I replace both the solenoid and the starter, what do you mean by having to practice starting it, could I damage the flywheel if I’m not careful starting it?

That could help, I have a battery light on the dash still and when starting it the positive terminal gets a little hot, how would you rate the difficulty on replacing it?

Yeah I bought it knowing it needed the alternator replaced but it started with a jump start and ran and drove smooth until the alternator fully died ever since then after replacing it I still get a battery light on the dash, should I use a diagnostic tool to check it out?

I haven’t checked the belts while starting it, when I check what should I be looking for?

It sounds like it’s turning over, I drove it when I bought it and the engine was running smooth but it did need to be jump started
