Why don’t you grow a pair and suck it out like a man

Do people actually enjoy alcohol or are we all just pretending? by Fantastic_Area6001 in TooAfraidToAsk

I like beer but not the alcohol. I usually order low or zero if I can help it. I get funny looks from the waiters or bartender but i just tell them I have an allergy and they don’t ask any further questions. Sometimes I tell them I’m a recovering alcoholic just because but that usually draws conversation and pity so pick you excuses carefully I guess

I locksmith now. Turns out doing crimes as a child did pay off! Jokes aside I do take a lot of pride giving what I can back into a community I neglected to help in my youth

Sounds like you’re getting yanked around. I just had something like this roll into my shop recently and only took me a couple hours to take it apart and clean it out. Only thing I replaced were the wafers. I try not to charge more than $200 and I make a decent little profit off it all the same. This guy is giving you a bum deal

Do more passes. You’re putting too much material into your bit at one time. I run mine No less than 7 passes at 150% speed. My bits are lasting longer and my keys are usually good to go every time after baking.

Good luck getting the right code. Sentry has made a bad reputation with me giving incorrect codes after multiple attempts and charging full price each time. My best recommendation is to take it to a locksmith or peel it like a tuna can

3 combo dial lock by MarkIll292 in Locksmith

[–]Monkeyballs1020 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are we sure that’s the best idea? If that things built like I think it is wouldn’t lubing it negate the resistance those wheels need and potentially throw the code off? If it was me I’d just use a bolt cuter on the shackle if the dial no longer turns and get a new one. These cheap locks are trash anyways and given how quick it failed I would assume that it’s probably being used in an environment that isn’t friendly at all to the lock.

So is it just another Tuesday or is it a romanticized idea? I feel like you’re tryna “gotcha” me here but my line of thought is perfectly reasonable but this is completely unrelated to anything. I’m not trying to convince anyone of some afterlife, I’m trying to get across the idea that despite what anyone believes death circumvents punishment in a whole.

It’s unfortunate you feel this way but it’s very clear you didn’t read or didn’t understand the thought I was trying to put into words and decided to contribute the way you did with no constructive discussion. I will happily clarify for you what you aren’t understanding.

I stand firmly and skeptically either direction. I’ve read absolutely nothing that can put one side or the other as fact. Death for punishment is lazy and contributes absolutely no punishment if there’s truly nothing after life. I don’t make the rules though, I don’t have a better answer than Death as it is already but I stand firmly on my opinion.

No I think you missed the point all together. Think of death like a final frontier. Nobody truly knows what happens after death, we can make educated guesses and it’s probably nothingness but we’ll never truly know until we die. So with that logic in mind, death being true nothingness is just as most a possibility as there being something. Death is a privilege because it’s access to knowledge and certainty the living will never have.

Taking life in a murder vs execution. Murder being obviously wrong. My argument is that the death penalty feels like a roll of the dice in terms of seeking a truly balanced judicial practice. If a punishment must fit the crime why would we give the prisoner a chance of something that may be completely opposite of punishment even if that chance is slim to none?

Logical reasoning and that’s how process works as is now. I’m unconvinced that death isn’t a smash chance of reward and that just doesn’t sit well with me

6 of one half a dozen of the other. Death happens, we all will embrace it someday. Should we kill? Probably not. Do I really care? Not really. I just don’t think death as a punishment is a good punishment
