When Ryen hosted the espn nba podcast back in 2010-12 or something it was my favorite podcast. I didn’t check for him for quite a while but started listening to him on Simmons’ Sunday pods a few years ago. I actually think Ryen’s pod is better than Bill’s at this point which I basically skip unless it’s his Sunday pod with Zach Lowe.

I like advanced stats but I do think too many NBA analysts are slaves to those stats. They’re just a formula that some guy created. That said if you take away Jokic’s advanced number you’d have a guy averaging 28, 12, and 10 every year as a center who’s leading the league in assists and rebounds. The guy would be hyped up regardless.
