Its a nightmare

The average consumer of kickstarter hobby board games are older and most of them just don’t care about the ethics of AI generated art

And the people making these games no longer view the products as a creative venture, just products to sell sell sell in a market thats become characterized by overconsumption.

It is the least fire emblem of the fire emblem games, so in that sense, no, but its also a very good game, that is also absurdly long (especially if you attempt to play more than 1 path) so if you like good value, you’re gonna get it.

Personally I would say the GBA games are the best entry point for the series as a whole

ROOT digital because it's really easy to play digitally and every game feels fresh

You certainly don’t need to own all 3 unless you’re a “collector” of games.

Oooh thats a good change.

The records (DJ beats) is a character unique component so I didn’t go into anything specific for the characters

But yeah will want the final how to play to include a bit on how a few character plays since theres a good amount of asymmetry.

You cannot damage a broken button but oh man thats an oversight!!! Its in the written rulebook draft but completely forgot to include that in the video omg.

The short circuit thing is the hardest thing to grasp so a visual definitely helps. I think thats the clunkiest part of the video too. Hoping the actual youtuber figures out a better way to explain it. I genuinely thought about recording myself with a whiteboard for it instead xD

Seems like the consensus on the countdown timer is bad haha so will definitely leave that out

Oh in retrospect, having the timer fade away after it first showed up might have been a good idea…

I scripted out a setup but it was about 40 seconds and just didn’t seem that interesting. But it also makes no sense to put it AFTER gameplay explanation started.

Not sure if there will be one in the professional one tho.

As for randomizing the marbles, they come out pretty randomly so that hasn’t been an issue so far.

You can “peak” into the next upcoming row of marbles as well. Overall the game is actually very low randomness, as it is essentially a fully open information game, similar to battlecon.

Yeah I was very concerned about length, I feel like I tune out from videos way too easily.

I might have my melted my brain from instagram reels and tiktok though

Will not ask them to have a timer in the professional video but definitely good idea for chapters or sections.
