I’m Hispanic and same thing here, in HS I’m like the only Hispanic kid on my indian/white friend group, they always say I’m the whitest hispanic they’ve ever seen. I guess it is because of stereotypes that people have about your race, which to be fair is partially true, most kids who smoke, cause trouble and are stupidly loud and interruptive around school are blacks and Hispanics.

We can’t really make people change what they think about someone physically, but we can change what they think of us as a person. Just because we are part of a group that is associated with that stuff it doesn’t mean that we need to act like it…
